The BIO International Convention, also known as BIO 2023, is set to take place from June 5-8, 2023 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA1. This influential global gathering of biotech and pharma industry power players is billed as the world’s most important biotech meeting1.
The BIO 2023 event will feature a variety of high-profile figures. Award-winning journalist and longtime cancer advocate Katie Couric will be interviewed by Rachel King, BIO CEO, about her pursuit to stand up for science and patients. This is scheduled for the morning of June 6 on the Main Stage. On the following morning, Robert M. Califf, MD, who returned to lead the FDA as the 25th commissioner in 2022, will also take the Main Stage. His tenure at the FDA has included dealing with a pandemic and an infant formula shortage, and fighting misinformation is a top priority for him1.
The event will offer four days of intensive networking through BIO One-on-One Partnering, which attracts over 14,000 biotechnology and pharma leaders.
